I’m Gregoire.
Nice to meet you!

I’m a French guy (meaning I love wine)!

My passion for the wine world, my experience and my taste for entrepreneurship led me to an adventure, searching relentlessly for the hidden wine gems of France.

My time working in Burgundy, provided the invaluable opportunity to connect with the very winemakers I represent today. They’re not always the most known, the most popular… They are first and foremost those who love the grape, the land, the process and the culture!

6 years ago, life brought my wife, children, and me to the vibrant California. It was here that I realized YOU might also yearn to discover the exceptional wines crafted by these authentic French vignerons.

And so, I’m thrilled to bring these hidden gems directly to you. Letting you feel the love and craft of the true French artists who can transform a simple fruit into the most delicate beverage there is, all while holding an outmost respect for the land they nurture for generations to come.

Did you know?

Although over 10,000 wine grape varieties exist across the globe, just 13 of them account for a remarkable one-third of the world’s planted vineyards.

While I deeply appreciate these classic expressions, my aim is to introduce you to the delightful diversity that lies beyond.

Chardonnay

Chardonnay is not an aromatic white grape variety. Its delicate fruitiness enables it to bring out the mineral notes of the terroir or the aromas of the oak used for ageing. It can produce a dry, full-bodied white wine, nervous and lively or intense and tropical.

Cabernet sauvignon

This variety produces small grapes with a thick, dark-blue skin. The grapes ripen slowly, thanks to late flowering and ripening. Robust Cabernet Sauvignon vines produce high yields of fruit.

Marselan

Marselan is a black grape variety, the result of a cross between Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache Noir. It produces a complex, aromatic wine with a dark ruby color. Rich in supple, harmonious tannins, balanced with length, it has good cellaring potential.

Pinot Noir

Pinot Noir produces red wines with a light ruby color. Rather full-bodied, they give off delicate, bewitching aromas and soft tannins. This grape variety is also used in sparkling wines such as Champagne, blended with Chardonnay.

Syrah

Syrah-based wines are highly colored, with black pigments, and characterized by high acidity and tannins. This grape gives body and aromas of black fruit, especially blackberry or blackcurrant, and chocolate.

Gamay

Gamay noir is a typically Burgundian grape variety. It produces a bright, intense, limpid and brilliant red wine. Gamay goes very well with charcuterie and fresh cheeses, for example. Lyonnais gastronomy is a perfect match.

Sauvignon Blanc

This variety produces an aromatic dry white wine with fresh acidity and herbal notes. In cooler regions, the wine tends towards vegetal and mineral tones.

Persan

We don’t know its exact origin, but its point of departure is thought to be Saint Jean de Maurienne in Savoie. Persan is a quality wine, bouquet-rich, tannic, colorful, rich in alcohol, a little hard in its youth, but very apt to age, 12 to 15 years to reach its fullness.

Jacquère

Native to Savoy, and a key ingredient in Apremont, Jacquère produces a pale, light wine – discreetly floral – lively, acidic but with a pleasant freshness. It is intended for fairly rapid consumption.

Duras

Originally from the Gaillac region (Tarn), Duras is a medium-colored, well-typed wine, not very tannic, rich in alcohol, with a lot of nerve and hardness at first. Aromas of spices, pepper in particular…
